I found you on google. We have an after market ice maker installed on our Jenn Air fridge. It was running over all the time. My brother in law had an ice maker on his fridge and it has an attachment on his icemaker that shuts it off before it overeflows. I went to Lowes and looked at a whirlpool fridge that has an attachment on its icemaker. I got the part number on it. I went on line with the part number and it came up on your website with a whirlpool number. I called your number and... Read more

Symptoms of a bad hinge screw include:
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
If your refrigerator isn't staying at the right temperature or runs too warm, the thermistor may have failed. This sensor monitors compartment temps.
First I did the obvious: Changed the evaporator fan motor and condenser fan motor. Then I realized there was too little air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator, so I replaced the air baffle assembly. Now everything works again. This should have been a piece of cake, but in the 48" Kitchenaid side-by-side built-in, the baffle assembly is mounted on the side wall of the refrigerator rather than the back wall as the video showed. That means the hole for the rear of the two screws holding... Read more

This trash compactor is in our vacation home. We never use it and now we are selling the house. When I looked to replace it I was amazed at how expensive a new compactor would cost. I found the serial number on the current compact entered it and your web site came up. Your schematics were excellent and made the repair very easy! Read more
Replacement screw for securing panels, brackets, and internal components. Replaces missing, stripped, or damaged fasteners to restore proper fit.
Replaced door latch and switch. Parts are plastic so you must know what you are doing to avoid breaking new parts. Videos were hard to find for my model - eventually I found a video that addressed a different problem but required disassembly of a washer cabinet similar to mine. I removed the control panel using a putty knife and unplugged the wire to the latch switch. Then I remove 3 screws securing the washer's top panel to the back panel. Using a rubber mallet, I gently knocked the top panel... Read more

No water or slow flow from dispenser? A faulty water inlet valve is often the cause. This valve regulates water supply to your refrigerator's dispenser.
Replaced the water inlet valve. Because my fridge (KitchenAid) is a commercial style with the compressor on top, the inlet valve was underneath the fridge so most work done laying on my side. I raised the feet as high as they would go, released to two screw for the metal housing that the inlet valve was attached to then swung it toward the front. From here, I was able to remove the two screws holding the inlet valve to the metal housing freeing it. Then I removed the hoses and the electrical... Read more
