I watched a You Tube video on how to remove the door, which was easy. With only having to remove 4 screws was able to remove the front panel. 4 screws hold the handle on, remove and reinstall on new door. This replacement transformer steps down household 120VAC, 60Hz power to the low voltage used by the appliance's electronic control. Replacing a failed transformer can restore power to the display/clock and control circuits so cooking functions respond properly. What it does:
Replaced power transformer. I used a multimeter to measure output voltage of the transformer and discovered there was no output voltage. We had to replace the panel. A few issues. We had to remove the handle from the broken panel to the new panel. This was a bit tricky but our next door neighbor had gone through this same issue so he and my husband were able to work it through without damaging anything.
