I'm no repair expert, but this looked like a really easy job, but it wasn't. It took about 1.5 hours. You have to remove the oven from the wall to do the job. After you remove the back panel it's pretty self explanatory. I had some difficulty getting the back panel to fit properly. Patience and persistence. I suggest taking a photo of the panel before you remove it to help. In the end it's all together and working fine. Read more

Having seen the repair men disassemble my oven to replace a light bulb in the microwave/convection section (Yes, that's right!! I can't believe they designed it that way.), I decided to take on this task myself. Access to the broil element is near the light. Okay, so it took me a couple of hours but it saved me nearly $300. Followed the Appliance Parts Pros video. Took about 10 minutes. Removed 2 screws inside door above glass. Removed 4 lower vent screws and vent. Removed 2 screws under bottom edge of plastic door and door, exposing torsion springs. Replaced springs and reassembled. Read more
My wife thought we should order an entire door or replace the ovens! I found AppliancePartsPros online. Ordered the wrong part only realizing this after taking the door apart. I then called customer service and Mr. Chris Norwood handled my call. He cancelled my order and found the correct glass for me. This was about 3pm on a Fri.
