Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Three burners not working   Peter W. • Lewisburg , PA • October 30, 2016

After disconnecting the range from its power supply, I removed the glass cooktop (be careful of the gasket which may be quite dirty and disintegrating) by removing the stainless steel trim pieces (3) and clips (2) that hold the cooktop on left and right sides. I then removed screws that hold the control panel top the front of the range. With screws removed, the panel can flip forward, revealing back sides the infinite switches. I carefully examined the location and mounting points of the old... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You No   Steven D. • Gerber , CA • April 29, 2016

I'm no repair expert, but this looked like a really easy job, but it wasn't. It took about 1.5 hours. You have to remove the oven from the wall to do the job. After you remove the back panel it's pretty self explanatory. I had some difficulty getting the back panel to fit properly. Patience and persistence. I suggest taking a photo of the panel before you remove it to help. In the end it's all together and working fine. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You My kitchen aid gas oven was dead   Randy B. • Tuscaloosa , AL • September 14, 2014

I didn't know where to start and could not find a wiring schematic on-line. This site sent me a schematic in pdf format. I was able to troubleshoot and identify and order the part , a transformer. The part arrived in two days. I was having a devil of a time trying to disassemble the oven to get to the transformer. I again turned to the forum and within an hour was sent a link to repair instructions, along with advice. I realized early on that it would be important for repairs to a gas oven to... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The oven showed a flat code f2 e0 i said there was a stuck key on the touch pad i tried to power it off and back on several time but that didn't fix the issue ordered the suggested replacement pt   Arlie J. • Hilliard , FL • June 18, 2016

I removed the trim on the sides of the Top glass cooking surface then the front control panel. Then I removed the wires from all the burner control knobs as well as the oven control panel. Tried to unscrew the screws that scored the switch membrane however the screws were too soft and the heads striped out. Had to buy new screws and use an easy out tool to remove the screws. Once the membrane was free from the front panel then I unplugged the ribbon that connects it to the panel. I then plunged... Read more
