This door glass seal replaces the soft gasket that fits around the inner oven door glass to help keep heat and smoke inside the oven cavity for safer, more efficient cooking. It restores a better seal and reduces heat loss around the door. What it does:
- Seals the gap between the inner oven door glass and door frame to limit heat and smoke escape
- Helps maintain oven temperature stability for consistent cooking results
- Reduces heat transfer to the surrounding cabinetry and control area
- Can improve oven efficiency if the old seal is cracked, compressed, or missing
What's included:
Install notes:
- For safest results, replace with the oven powered off and fully cooled; disconnect power at the breaker when required
- Inspect surrounding door glass and clips before reassembly; replace any damaged parts to ensure a proper seal
- Work carefully to avoid scratching the glass or bending metal door components

Broken inner door glass Wallace F. • Erie , PA • June 24, 2018
Frequent referral to your tutorial video was extremely useful. In the video at 0.90 had trouble lifting the over door off. At 4.00 in video the factory installed insulation in our stove was doubled on itself and therefore only covered half of the perimeter of the insulation channel. Factory goof. Reassembly at 4.25 in video have to be certain BOTH sides of tabs engage large flat pan, since I took off both hinges. Not quite obvious in video if both door hinges were removed.

Two of the ignition electrode was not working and the torx screws holding the burner assembly were rusted so badly they are broken during dissassembly Huseyin K. • Auburn , AL • October 27, 2014
I have tried to remove the burner assemblies by removing the torx screws but they were badly rusted, and unfortunately they all were broken during removal. I just discarded the ruined orifices and assembled the new orifices and burner assembly.
