I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. It is an electrically operated solenoid valve that opens and closes in response to signals from the control board. Replace this valve if the ice maker is not filling with water, the water dispenser has low or no flow, or if the valve is leaking or buzzing without dispensing water.

The evaporater drain was plugged. This is the second time in five years. I ordered new drip pan plate and drain tube. The old tube is very small and hard to clear. The inside diameter of the old tube in not much bigger than a wooden skewer. The drip pan which I replaced is about a 10 minute job. Remove 2 drawers and shelves. Remove evaporater cover (2) screws.
