I replaced the gasket with one from APP. The replacement was simple on this model as it's held in place by metal strips screwed to the door around the perimeter. I just loosened the screws and removed the gasket and re installed in reverse. The interior door panel is secured by the same screws on this model so don't remove completely with the door still on the fridge. Replaced the defrost heater from another model. It was the same heater with a different plug so I changed out the plug. Also changed the thermistor, thermostat, and defrost timer. I have been working on this for a few weeks testing each part. So far everything is working great. The defrost heater rates a 4, the other parts are between a 1 and 2.
