This is a metal mounting bracket that secures the evaporator fan motor in place inside the freezer compartment. It ensures the fan motor is properly positioned to circulate cold air throughout the refrigerator and freezer sections. Replace this bracket if the fan motor is loose, vibrating excessively, or if the original bracket is cracked or bent.

I had the water filter holder replaced to fix the problem with the water for the door and the ice maker. The holder did not come with the cover for the release button for the filter. I ordered a replacement cover (Button) for the filter release. The cover fits over the release lever and was easily snapped onto the lever.
