There was an icicle under the ice maker. It had not been overfilling and still made ice. After removing the unit, noticed the ice tray lining was broken on the motor side. It appears the torque of the paw shaft was transfereed to the back of the tray. After lining had cracked, water seeped inbetween the lining and metal ice tray. After many freeze cycles lining delaminated and water leaked out the bottom. It didn't take long to fix but there was some time to melt the ice underneath. No place... Read more

It was just a door tray. I simply put it in place. I entered my appliance manufacturer and model number, entered the part I needed and they sent the right part. Sounds easy doesn't it? I tried another company first did the same thing and got the wrong part and it looked used. I sent it back (at my expense) with their RMA and a month later still, I'm still waiting for a refund.
