Defrost heater that melts frost and ice from the freezer evaporator to help maintain proper cooling and airflow. Replacing a failed heater restores normal defrost cycles and reduces recurring frost buildup. What it does:
This replacement cabinet screw secures panels, brackets, and ducts in Whirlpool-built appliances so components stay aligned and secure. Replacing missing or stripped hardware helps reduce vibration, rattling, and gaps that can affect performance.
The problem was that the motor coupler & shaft had a tiny bit of rust at their union. With the weight of the ice bin it rusted in the lowest position. This didn't allow the motor coupler to float on the shaft. There is a spring inside the shaft that pushes up on the motor coupler keeping it engaged in the ice bin coupler above. This coupler in turn rotates the auger in the bin to dispense the ice. I removed the motor coupler & shaft, tapped the coupler loose and filed off the rust. This allowed... Read more
This plain washer is a small hardware spacer used in appliance assemblies. It spreads the load under a fastener to secure parts, maintain alignment, and reduce wear—helping keep brackets, hinges, and mounts tight and operating correctly. What it does
My LG electric dryer stopped drying the other day and I searched on line for suggestions on what may have caused it to stop working. I came across AppliancePartsPros.com and quickly found some of the most common issues with my LG dryer. The problems were listed in the order of most common occurrence, and had extremely helpful and detailed instructions on how to not only diagnose the problem, they also showed exactly how to access and repair the issue. Unfortunately, it was late on a Thursday... Read more
This bin control lever secures the refrigerator door shelf/bin to the door, restoring a stable hold and preventing the bin from sliding or falling. Ideal for replacing a cracked, loose, or broken lever to regain full door storage function. What it does:

A replacement sleeve coupling that helps connect components in the drive assembly so the appliance transfers rotational force smoothly. Use this part to restore proper tumble/spin and reduce noise or slipping from a worn sleeve. What it does
Spoke with a representive that diagnosed the problem as a bad control board. After receiving the new control board, I was able to easily perform the replacement by watching the step-by-step instructional video on the website. It is now functioning normally. Read more
This replacement roller fits the front or rear position of a slide mechanism, restoring smooth, even movement and reducing noise when a wheel is worn or broken. It helps racks or drawers glide properly and stay aligned. What it does:
Ordered, wheels, pivoted it up to either side, pried out existing broken front wheels, tapped in new wheels. Fit great. Ordering 2 more for the back wheels as they are getting brittle too. You do need 1 to 2 guys to hold the refrig while you're changing wheels. Read more
Size: 5/16 to 1/4. Universal John Guess Push On
Every once in a while we'd get a small leak just under the left side (freezer door). I moved the fridge out and saw the water stain towards the front of the unit. Carefully removing the grate (see the video on how to do this so you don't snap the plastic brackets. They are part of the grate and there is one on the left and one on the right, centered from top to bottom.) Anyway the problem was visible. There is a water tube that runs into the door and presumedly up to the water dispenser. ... Read more
This fan scroll is the plastic housing that surrounds the evaporator fan in the freezer section. It directs air across the evaporator coils and into the ducts, helping your refrigerator move cold air evenly and maintain stable temperatures.
Ordered a new one. Read more
This support mounts in the dispenser area to secure the ice housing assembly. It helps keep the chute and door properly aligned so ice dispenses smoothly and the opening seals as designed.
Replaced the ice tray and motor mount plate. While I was there I replaced the thermostat also. New parts arrived in a day and a half. Read more
This air baffle assembly regulates and directs cold airflow inside the refrigerator, typically between the freezer and fresh food sections. Replacing a damaged baffle helps restore balanced air distribution for more even cooling and stable temperatures throughout. What it does:
First I did the obvious: Changed the evaporator fan motor and condenser fan motor. Then I realized there was too little air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator, so I replaced the air baffle assembly. Now everything works again. This should have been a piece of cake, but in the 48" Kitchenaid side-by-side built-in, the baffle assembly is mounted on the side wall of the refrigerator rather than the back wall as the video showed. That means the hole for the rear of the two screws holding... Read more
This lower ice crusher bin is the bottom housing of the freezer's ice container. It supports the auger and crusher assembly to help prevent jams and leaks, so your dispenser can reliably deliver cubed or crushed ice.
Right-hand door bin end cap that replaces a cracked or missing trim piece and secures the refrigerator door shelf. Restores a flush fit and helps keep stored items from shifting. What it does
A 42-inch defrost heater that melts frost buildup on the evaporator to help restore proper airflow and cooling. Replaces a broken or open heater element to reduce icing and improve freezer performance. What it does:
Bin control lever that secures the refrigerator door shelf bin to the door, allowing the bin to lock in place and release for removal. Replacing a broken lever restores proper bin retention and prevents the bin from falling or shifting. What it does:
This replacement washer is a small hardware spacer used in appliance assemblies. It provides a smooth bearing surface under a bolt or nut to distribute load and maintain proper spacing so components stay secure, aligned, and quiet.
The door closure spring restores the tension that pulls the door closed and holds it securely. Replacing a fatigued spring brings back smooth, reliable closing action and helps prevent doors that drift open or feel loose.
