Removed upper control panel in top front of fridge ( 3 screws ) unplugged board ( 2 connectors ) swapped in new board . just slides into 2 slots . and reassembled . the plastic diffuser that goes in the rear top left corner of fridge redirects the air down the back of all the shelves instead of just top shelf towards the door . seems to work better , more even temp on all shelves . I replaced the start relay and overload switch with the single part Overload/Relay part number AP3119971. Now it operates like new. Had no problem replacing part, just followed instructions. Foam air baffle block that installs between the evaporator fan housing and side wall. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore airflow.
Researched the possible causes and fixes. Found this part number and ordered. Followed the included instructions. Fairly easy upgrade to the previous air baffle. Time will tell if this will solve the problem. Read more
