This is an easy home-owner repair! 1. Get down on the floor with a flashlight and a 5/16 nut driver, and remove the two screws holding the lower panel. Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. This bracket mounts inside the dishwasher tub and supports the middle spray arm manifold tube, holding it securely in position. It ensures the spray arm tube stays aligned so water is properly distributed during the wash cycle. I custom cut out a plastic washer to hold the worn screw in place. For months, I added a small strip of duct tape to the screw's threads, which would often stay in tact for a few days. This upper rack adjuster sets and secures the dishwasher's top rack height so dishes clear the spray arms and load properly. When the adjuster wears or breaks, the rack can become uneven or stuck, leading to poor cleaning and loading issues.
