This complete control panel assembly includes the touchpad, display, and user interface for your dishwasher. It allows you to select wash cycles, monitor progress, and control all dishwasher functions. Replace it if the touchpad doesn't respond, display is damaged, or cycle selections malfunction.

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. This assembly removes food particles from wash water and pumps dirty water out of the dishwasher during drain cycles. Located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub, it needs replacement when dishes remain dirty, water doesn't drain completely, or unusual grinding noises occur during operation.

I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts. This small plastic clip prevents your dishwasher's upper dish rack from sliding too far forward when pulled out. It stops the rack at the proper position to prevent it from falling out completely. Replace this clip if your upper rack slides out too far or falls off its tracks when loaded with dishes.

This door latch assembly securely locks your dishwasher door and activates the washing cycle when properly engaged. It includes the handle mechanism that allows you to open and close the door safely. Replace this latch if your dishwasher won't start, the door won't stay closed, or you can't open the door after a cycle.
