After noticing that the dishwasher was leaking , I noticed that the hose was split on the knit line. Replaced that with an automotive hose and on further investigation I noticed that a gasket was leaking also. Easy to replace and repair. Also used some dielectric grease. Reassembled and no leakes. This replacement control panel is made by Whirlpool and is compatible with dishwashers.The control panel needs to be working properly for the user to be able to select the desired wash cycles. Over time and with regular equipment use, the user may notice the control panel growing faulty, such as the buttons getting stuck, detaching, or the display not lighting up. Operator interface buttons are in plastic strip in the control panel. These button switches fail with time/usage. Replaced the Control panel, part no. AP6012924, (WP8531818) for Model KUDI01ILBL6. Be sure to verify color. The color of the part you order will be shown on the order page you select. It takes about 15 minutes to replace the part. You will need a 6 slot star type screwdriver tip to remove the panel. Works like new.....Happy, Happy, Happy! Read more
