The part arrived earlier than stated. I rounded up the tools I needed - had to buy a star screwdriver to remove the panel. I watched a youtube tutorial on line before hand - very helpful. I followed the instructions step by step and had no problem removing and replacing the part. I am a 60 year old woman and I only mention that because normally I would have just called a repairman but I thought what the heck - I'll give it a try. this was very easy to do and saved me a repairman's charge. watch... Pulled dishwasher from under counter, disconnecting water supply pipe for access. Removed vent and fouled gasket and cleaned pieces with CLR. Reinstalled gasket, reconnected water supply and repositioned dishwasher under counter. Not particularly easy for DIYer but can be done. As a side note, I ordered 2 gaskets for the first repair so one was readily available. When the subsequent repair was finished, I order 2 more, due to low price, for backup. Read more
