This no-flip clip snaps onto a dishwasher rack tine to hold lightweight items in place so they stay upright during the cycle. Replace a broken or missing clip to keep cups, lids, and small bowls from tipping and improve cleaning results.
Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. First I ordered new dishracks from KitchenAid/Whirlpool. However, they don't make the "flex row" tines anymore and there was, therefore, a big "hole" in the dishrack that arrived. I could fit a large pot in the space, but no dishes (they'd fall through). KitchenAid and Whirlpool don't even sell the parts anymore. But, to the rescue comes AppliancePartsPros.com. This black dishwasher control panel houses the buttons, cycle selector, and display that allow you to operate your dishwasher and choose wash settings. 1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive.
