Replaced control panel and ribbon cable. Worked for half a cycle and then power went dead. Further trouble shooting led me to possible fuse failure since I had power to fuse but not to door switch. The hardest part was determining the correct name for the basket. Thankfully, with the right name, Appliance Parts Pros search engine took me right to the part. I reviewed the schematic and saw the Volute Seal, and Impeller Seal were the two that were closest my source of water. After watching the video about changing the Impeller/seal I removed the motor, impeller, and volute; I found that the impeller seal was the faulty one in my case. Since I'd ordered the volute and impeller seal kits (as I wasn't sure which it was) I installed both while I had it apart. Runs great, no water - simple to do. The seal changes took about 20 minutes.
