Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I ordered the lid from Appliance Parts Pros which arrived very quickly. Received it with in two days of the order. I was debating for 7 years whether or not to order the lid. Washing machine worked and is still working perfectly, but the integrity of the old lid was so degraded even after having taken steps to preserve it for as long as possible. 7 years ago I saw the beginning of the lid showing signs of rust. Clamp Includes 205529 Bolt Kit. It Does *not* include The The Rubber Seal. If Seal Required, Use WP211232
I removed the front cover and saw water a rusted out drum cover clamp. Water gushed out at this point when i operated the machine. I ordered a new clamp and seal from Appliance Parts Pros, which arrived quickly. I wire-brushed the drum and it's cover clean, in the sealing area and installed the new seal and clamp. NOTE do not set the cover down all the way down, or the tub will not "spin". Leave 3/8- 1/2" clearance between the top of the tub and the upper cover. I chose to fix my old... Read more
Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"... Read more
