These little things are actually critical to operation, because the lid safety switch needs to be pressed back far enough to sense that the lid is closed, and without the bumpers, this is a little iffy. We purchased the mounting stem repair kit,,tub bearing kit, 3 new bolt/washers that hold the outer tub in place and the spanner wrench. Cleaned everything... Simple. Remove top back panel. (4 screws) Remove old injector. (1 nut screw.) Rotate to remove. (Other side is a tab in a slot.) Unsnap the upper injector. Snap upper injector on to new lower injector. Replace in reverse order. Run washer, look for leaks. Read more

I watched the video for lip seal(part # 207843) replacement.I also had to remove the brake assembly in order to replace the seal so I watched that video also. American appliances are very easy to fix in comparison to imported ones. Just open the washer and take de transmission cover out change the pinion inside removing a simple retainer. In the agitator there is a screw that you loosen it take it out, then de tub and take the shaft out and put a new seal and a new c clamp and reinstall everything back. Top-loading washers are very easy to fix in comparison to front-loading washers that are very difficult to fix. Read more

Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"... Read more

Just move out the control panel by loose 4 screws and move out timer by 2 screws and loose every line connnect. Replaces the new timer. And the washer is working. Read more

Purchased and installed new tub bearing and seals. Decided to replace the tub bolts as well, since I had it apart. Now if I could just find a new outer tub (which the manufacturer has discontinued). Appliance parts pros has a great "how to" video which made it simple! Read more

The lid shut-off switch is located behind the lid How About That. I order the plastic ball the hold the lid in place plus the lid shut off switch. I watched the video that AppliancePartsPros.com has on how to replace the lid and the plastic balls. I removed the lid to get to the two philips head screws to remove that part of the shut-off switch. I took the new switch out of the package and compared it to the old switch.
