Fixes weak spray or slow draining caused by a worn impeller. Restores water circulation in your dishwasher. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
I replaced the dishwasher circulation motor. I also replaced the impeller assembly, although it turns out that was not necessary. Actually replacing the motor was straightforward: Remove the upper and lower racks. Turn off the breaker and water supply. Disconnect power, supply water and drain hose. Slide out the dishwasher. Inside the dishwasher, unscrew the two screws holding on the bottom rotating sprayer and remove the sprayer, unscrew the one screw holding the little metal bracket and... Read more
Fix dishwasher leaks from the bottom or poor spray action with a new sump and motor assembly. Includes circulation motor, drain pump, and gasket.
Ordered the part paid the extra 6-7 bucks to get it in 2 days. Once I received it it came in a box with bubble wrap around it not oem wrap. It took about 20 minutes to install and I've run it once so far no issues. Read more
Lower rack assembly for dishwashers. Holds dishes and cookware during wash cycles. Replace if bent, warped, cracked, or damaged from heavy loads.
Fixes dishwasher leaks and draining problems. This sump assembly collects and channels water to the drain pump. DIY repair typically takes 1-2 hours.
My project involved replacing the sump assembly and main motor on my LG dishwasher. The parts arrive in about 2-3 days. Wow, FAST! With the help of videos from LG I knew what to do. The trick with the whole project was ensuring that I transferred ALL gaskets from the old sump assembly to the new one. I missed transferring one around a sensor, then did not get the gasket around the pump motor properly. Once all those were correct all leaks stopped, new motor is whisper quiet (all I hear now is... Dishwasher won't start or stops mid-cycle? This door micro switch detects secure closure before cycles begin. Direct fit repair for door latch issues.
Seals the joint between sump and tub to prevent leaks. Replace if worn, cracked, or flattened to stop water escaping. Confirm fit with your model number.
I ordered a tub seal to fix a gasket that let go in our LG LDS4821BB. Once I tore it apart to get the gasket out (little trouble) I also found what has made this DW stink for the last year. I needed to also replace the filter unit in the bottom of the tub and clean the heater area. I ordered the filter the same day I got the gasket. Both arrived WITHIN 48hrs of my order. Wow!! What more can you ask for? Great prices too. Both parts were replaced by removing a total of 12 screws and easy... Read more
White plastic cam that interfaces with the diverter motor microswitch. Replaces worn, cracked, or broken cams that affect control engagement and signaling.
This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). It would be wise to order the motor seal and micro switch that goes with it as they are all cheap parts and easy to swap out during the procedure. Be sure to take... Read more

I looked up my unit and reviewed the schematic drawing online at Appliance Parts Pro. Replace broken or missing tines in your dishwasher's dish rack. This component supports and secures dishes during wash cycles. Easy replacement part.
Blue plastic holder for dishwasher dishrack tines. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing holders. Measures 3 inches wide by 1 inch high.
I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Then on power up, I found that the wash motor did not... Read more
