Tom B Perrysburg , OH October 09, 2015 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDS4821BB Leaky lg dishwasher I ordered a tub seal to fix a gasket that let go in our LG LDS4821BB. Once I tore it apart to get the gasket out (little trouble) I also found what has made this DW stink for the last year. I needed to also replace the filter unit in the bottom of the tub and clean the heater area. I ordered the filter the same day I got the gasket. Both arrived WITHIN 48hrs of my order. Wow!! What more can you ask for? Great prices too. Both parts were replaced by removing a total of 12 screws and easy if you have a moderate repair aptitude. The filter could have been done with the dishwasher in place. Remove the arm the rack tube then the filter. A standard and Philip screwdriver, that's all you need. Cleaning took more time than the actual part replacement. Side note: This LG dishwasher has needed 8 repairs now in 8 years. I will never buy another LG dishwasher and my not ever buy an LG appliance because of this experience.
