Replace the lock assembly: Open the lid and remove four philips screws from underneath the gasket. Carefully and patiently remove all of the gasket clips, first from the left and right sides then remove all but two from the top so when the final one comes out the panel and gasket can come towards you and then set gently in the top of the freezer. The door to our freezer was sagging due to the a nylon bearing wearing out on the bottom hinge. The sagging door prevented a good seal. I replaced the bottom bearing, and the door seals perfectly. Read more
Simply took out old that was falling apart and pushed in the new one. Because it was packaged bent in two places, it didn't fit as snugly in one section as it should, the bend wouldn't totally straighten, but hoping it's OK. Read more
Pulled bottom kick panel off, removed the one screw that held the light bracket on, unplugged the light connection, had to file a small burr off the bracket and pushed the light into the slot, reconnected the push on connector, replaced the screw for the bracket, replaced the kick panel, and marveled at my accomplishment.
