The PTC thermistor is a temperature sensor located in the refrigerator compartment that monitors internal temperature for proper cooling control. Replace when the refrigerator runs constantly, fails to maintain proper temperature, or the temperature display shows inaccurate readings.
Popped out the broken guide rails and snapped in new guide rails then slid in new snack tray. Removed old filter and replaced with new. No tools or service repairman was required.
