This connector joins two sections of the refrigerator's water tubing to create a secure, leak-resistant seal. Replace a cracked or loose connector to restore proper water flow to the dispenser and ice maker.
Unscrewed old and screwed in new. The replacement part matched the original exactly. Unit snapped into place easily and drawer is now supported on both sides. This repair either works or doesn't. Since the part matched the original, no problems were encountered. Part delivery was one day after the promised date. The last leg of shipment arrived by USPS. Now it was running smoothly with the additional temperatures that I replace in the Freezer side and the refrigerator side. Also,replaced the capacitors for the compressors to start the systems. The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping.
