This is a rubber or elastomer damper that supports and isolates the evaporator fan motor inside the refrigerator. It absorbs vibration from the motor to reduce noise during normal operation. Replace this part if you hear excessive buzzing, rattling, or vibration coming from the freezer section, which often indicates the damper has hardened or deteriorated.

I found the condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. I also found a drain tube cracked and breaking. I had to use a snub nose screwdriver to remove and replace condensing fan motor.
