I replaced the oven control board from AppliancePartsPros (also referred to as clock/timer) after testing for other problems with a multimeter. I ordered the part online, It was the correct part, but I didn't realize the overlay was not included (the adhesive cover that has the writing bake, broil etc). Easy-peasy. Took all of 10 minutes start to finish- most of that spent clearing glass chips from frame. I usually let repairmen do this kinda thing, but I couldn't justify the markup for the part, nor the 4 hr labor estimate. Saved myself about $600 and it really was super easy. This is the right-side outer panel for a freestanding range, providing the exterior surface that faces outward when the unit is installed at the end of a counter run. I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.
