Looked up possible causes on line and found video about trouble shooting. It said to check starter cap and run relay on side of compressor. Removed both and found both were bad .ordered replacements on line from appliancePartspros.com. Installed new parts and is working properly. This repair job was on a 2012 Frigidaire refrig. Unplugged appliance from wall outlet. removed clip that holds these item in place. unplugged starter from compressor and from electrical wiring. plugged capacitor into starter, then plugged the electrical connection into assembly. Evaporater fan would not run. Unplug the fridge and plug it back in and the fan would run for a while. Installed the UI-KIT SXS and the problem was fixed. My problem started with a rusting condition in the ice bin that spiraled out of hand. I took apart the ice bin and all the hardware thinking I could clean it with the suggested baking powder. Plastic parts cleaned up like new, metal parts were pitted. I wire brushed and sanded the parts put it all back together and gave it a try.
