I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. REPLACED TIMER. HOWEVER, OLD TIMER HAD A WHITE JUMPER WIRE BETWEEN TWO OF THE TERMINALS. THE NEW TIMER WAS MISSING ONE OF THE REQUIRED TERMINALS. AFTER LOOKING AT TIMERS FROM OTHER WEB VENDORS, I DECIDED I HAD THE ONLY TIMER AVAILABLE. I LOOKED AT THE NEW TIMER AGAIN, AND SAW THAT IT HAD A JUMPER BAR BUILT IN AND THE WHITE JUMPER WIRE WAS NOT NEEDED. I FINISHED INSTALLING THE NEW TIMER, AND THE DRYER WORKS FINE. Read more
