Replaces a cracked, loose, or worn microwave door handle. Restores a secure grip for opening and closing the door. Quick DIY fix for broken handles.
I used a putty knife to remove the black plastic cover on the inside of the door to expose the screws to the handle. Then using a Phillips screw driver, I removed the top and bottom screws to remove the handle. The bottom screw was stripped so I had to us a pair of pliers to grip the broken plastic handle to remove the screw. Replaced handle and tightened screws, snapped ring back in place.
