The Door Latch Hook is an OEM replacement part for LG microwaves. Located internally on the door frame, this metal hook secures firmly into the microwave's door latch bracket when closed. As a common wear point, the hook can experience minor warping over many years of use.

Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. Then it was a matter of a few days and the parts arrived as ordered. The repairs were easily done with a screwdriver and now the microwave has new bulbs, filter and bulb covers.
