The Door Latch Housing and Interlock Switch Assembly is an OEM replacement part for LG microwaves. It consists of the protective door latch housing casing along with the two-door switches and interlock switch. The interlock switch prevents microwave energy from being generated inside the oven when the door is open. It shuts off all power once a faulty seal is detected between the door and cavity. Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. I found the model number and did a search on Google. I found your website and became a member, quickly typed in my model number and within a few minutes had the parts ordered. Then it was a matter of a few days and the parts arrived as ordered. The repairs were easily done with a screwdriver and now the microwave has new bulbs, filter and bulb covers. Take the top vent off by two screws & then one screw on the side & lifted her up and I could see the 3 switches I need to repair. Then unscrewed the housin to the 3 switches. Took the housin out , put the 3 switches in the new housing & put her in & plug them in . And plug the Nucor and she works like new.
