We've called a few service centers, and received discouraging feedback & costly estimates. When I called APPro, I spoke with Andrew, and he diagnosed that the front panel needed replacement. He was very helpful, and indicated that the panel shouldn't be too difficult to repair. Once we received the part, my husband tried the remove the facade to get to the panel but LG has very tight fitting of the dispensing unit. This rail connector joins sliding drawer or shelf rail systems inside your refrigerator. It ensures smooth operation and proper alignment of movable components like crisper drawers or pull-out shelves. Replace it if drawers stick, wobble, or don't slide smoothly in and out of the refrigerator.
Both refrig and freezer lights failed. I did not replace the freezer light that went first, because of the cost. $90+. When the refrigerator light started blinking a year later, I was able to find replacemts at $50+ each. In removing the refrigerator LED lamp assembly, I broke one of the cover latches.
