So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. The fridge was making tick noise every 2 mins, turning off the condensor which prevented the fridge from cooling. Through research I found it is a common problem related to relay and overload. I tried searching for the part I couldn't see it online because it was discontinued for this particular LG model. Therefore I called the pros and they were able to find the part but had no image but since they accept returns, I was like its worth a shot and guess what it was the best choice I could make... It occurred to me that it was a fix I could handle on my own since it was a part unto its own. Therefore I looked up the part number found the website and ordered. Installation: took out the offensive part, replaced it with the new one and I once again had a viable dispenser. Read more

This dispenser button lever activates your refrigerator's water or ice dispensing mechanism when pressed.
