David B College Station , TX February 08, 2016 Appliance: Model LG LFX25961AL/01 Lg lfx25961al was no longer cooling Determined from Google search that relay was not functioning. Called Appliance Parts Pros; Steven helped me through the process of determining which part was necessary. Very helpful agent; without his research I would have ordered the wrong part! Very helpful and patient. Part was in stock and at my door within 24 hours (I paid for overnight service). Appliance Parts Pros are my "go-to" repair house. Amandeep S South Richmond Hill , NY September 07, 2015 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LSC27926ST Thermistor assembly replacement The fridge was making tick noise every 2 mins, turning off the condensor which prevented the fridge from cooling. Through research I found it is a common problem related to relay and overload. I tried searching for the part I couldn't see it online because it was discontinued for this particular LG model. Therefore I called the pros and they were able to find the part but had no image but since they accept returns, I was like its worth a shot and guess what it was the best choice I could make because it fixed the problem!!! Technicians charge $130 just figure what the problem is than they charge labor + parts which is ridiculous. So thanks to appliancepartspros.com for helping me out. Luis M Alpharetta , GA February 02, 2015 Refrigerator stop cooling After being told by the technician that the part did not exist anymore by LG, we contacted LG and they gave us a replacement part number that no one had, no online, no onsite, and we contacted Appliance Parts Pros, chat with their agents and they ordered the part directly from LG, LG took about 7 days (business) for the back order part but surely enough the part came after few days. Replace the part, 1 screw, 1 cover, 2 minutes fix and done. Our initial repair man wanted $170 for the fix, no problem with that, after he had a hard time finding the part, and few days after he already told us to go an get a new fridge, then he "found" the part, same time line as AppliancePartsPros, so we knew he will be ordering from the same place, but hey this time he wanted $300 for the same fix, because the part was harder to find, i guess 2 more phone calls are worth the other $130. My respects for all techs out that do this job, but please do not take advantage of folks, remember now youtube and the internet show us that is not rocket science and that a 2 minutes job even with an hour dirve round trip is not worth $300, hey attorney charge you that by hour.
