The machine would not run a full cycle before it cut off and had the code "FE" and water was too high. The water inlet valve needed to be replaced since it was letting in too much water at time. This was a very easy fix. Two screws to get the front off of the washer. Removed one side of the tensioner spring. Loosened two screws for the motor and two screws for the pump. I decided to replace the agitate belt even though it wasn't broken.. So, I removed that belt from the pulleys and the removed the broken belt. then just reversed the process to install the belts. it toke me less than 30 minutes and my washer was back in service. The water inlet mixing valve controls the flow and temperature of water entering the washer by blending hot and cold water supplies. Located at the back of the machine where water lines connect, it responds to temperature selection commands. Replace if water temperature is incorrect, no water enters the tub, or leaking occurs at the valve connections.
