Replaced both primary and secondary water valves to make sure I fixed the problem. Both valves have to open when you function the water dispenser and when the ice maker tray needs refilling. Plastic defrost pan. Evaporator pan hangs from side rails and rests on compressor.
The plastic on the strike ice door was broken which caused cam to slip. CAUTION: when I removed assembly, I also removed swith and cover. This allowed water to enter switch and shorted it out when power was reapplied. My mistake. I ordered strike is door, switch and seal on Monday and all arrived on Friday. Replaced parts in about 30 minutes and all is working like new. PS: the prices and availabilty could not be matched by anyone else. Way to Go, Appliance Parts Pro!!! Read more
