Vapor chamber assembly with vent gasket for dishwashers. Installs in the door area to manage moisture and ventilation. Replace if cracked or worn.
This is a dishwasher timer. The main purpose of a timer in a dishwasher is to ensure the unit cycles run for an appropriate amount of time. The timer regulates the amount of time that power is used on each component of the appliance. This part can be damaged or malfunction and cause the dishwasher to stop turning on, prevent completing cycles, or stopping operation in between cycles. If this occurs, the timer will need to be replaced. When replacing the dishwasher time, make sure to disconnect it from power. Remove the timer knob before accessing and taking off the door latch handle knob. Next, separate the inner door panel from the outer door panel so access is provided to the time. It can be removed, but make sure to note where the wires are connected. Attach the wires to the new timer and reassemble the dishwasher. The timer is made to be compatible with dishwashers by Tappan, Uni, and Frigidaire. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sold individually. It's directly sourced from the manufacturer.

The part was exactly what I needed to complete this job and I saved a bunch of money doing it myself. Read more

I put in 4 new parts ad gave it a try. had water under dish washer about the size of a half dollar , I dried it up and washed more dishes and pots. No leak that time, and it has been doing fine since. I'd say water was just what was laying on the water lines and shook off. If you see water the first time don't worry wipe it up and use it some more to see if it leaks. GOOD LUCK!!! Read more
