Starting off, I will be 73 on the 8th of May, that said we got the new part 2 days late due to hazardous. Road conditions. Where we live. I removed. All the screws on the door. That gave me the access to the internal controls. Three screws, and the control panel was off, and out said control panel was off. The job should have been very easy after watching a youtube video but the panel was stuck on the bottom and it took a call to the AppliancePros customers service line to figure out I needed some extra effort to pry it loose. Found the control panel ribbon cable connection at the control board had damaged contact area that was not fixable. Replaced the control panel assembly and solved all problems. The control panel is not a repairable part. It is totally sealed assembly with its connecting ribbon cable captive to the panel. Replacement is the only option.
