I watched the video first, then I exchanged the new guard filter and lower washer arm parts and it was done. I am glad I watched the video to know that I had to retain the end shields. Bracket that secures the dishwasher door hinge assembly. Installs on the side of the tub. Replace if cracked, bowing outward, or damaged.

1. Removed and replaced circulation pump. That didn't end up being the whole problem, although there was debris jammed up in multiple sections of the impeller. Still was satisfied with results. 2. Continued trouble-shooting and discovered a lot of additional debris in the spray arm itself. Score! That resolved all performance issues. 3. In hind sight, I realized the strainer was warped and was allowing the debris to penetrate all of the critical areas. Ordered new strainer and it fit up flush... Read more

I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. The initial problem was just a simple blockage on the filter screen...until I dropped a screw. So, I had to take the rest of the insides apart to retrieve it. The original impeller would not come off easily, so I tried to pry it off. Naturally, that caused the threaded portion to break.
