I watched the video first, then I exchanged the new guard filter and lower washer arm parts and it was done. I am glad I watched the video to know that I had to retain the end shields. Bracket that secures the dishwasher door hinge assembly. Installs on the side of the tub. Replace if cracked, bowing outward, or damaged.
Filters debris from dishwasher sump to protect pump and spray arms. Replace if warped, clogged, or dishes aren't cleaning properly. Verify fit by model.
1. Removed and replaced circulation pump. That didn't end up being the whole problem, although there was debris jammed up in multiple sections of the impeller. Still was satisfied with results. 2. Continued trouble-shooting and discovered a lot of additional debris in the spray arm itself. Score! That resolved all performance issues. 3.
