I ordered a new inner door panel. Removal of the inner door panel was pretty simple. Hardest thing was figuring out how the hot air vent was removed. Just twist the inner ring about 90 degrees counter clockwise and it comes loose. Mine was tight due to the residue that built up over time. Read more

Finding the serial numbers using your guidelines, allowed me to order the right replacement heating element. It was just a few days and the part was delivered - everything that I needed. Ordered upper wash manifold and connecting screw that holds the wash/rinse fan in place. Knocked out the old rusted screw out of the wash/rinse fan and screwed thus in place using the new parts. It took me about 15 minutes (I'm slow) and cost me about $18. Dishwasher is as good as new. I love youtube!
