After doing some searching I found owners having similar problems with their on off switches not working. Most had noticed after opening up the door panel and seeing burn marks on the ribbon cable from the panel control. After doing the same on my unit I notice burn marks as well. The remedy seemed to be replace the panel control so I ordered a replacement. When it arrived installed the new panel and that fixed the problem. The dishwasher is now working like new! Read more

My float was snapped off and while trying to find out what was the problem with the dishwasher. I discovered that the back docking station seals were shot. I replaced both the float and the docking station. The docking station took about 3 minutes. To fix the float I had to pull out the dishwasher and fit it from the bottom. It took about an hour. Ordered a new control panel after consulting live help since I did not know whether the fault would be in control panel or the visible electronic board. Part arrived in two days and had dishwasher working in a few minutes. Had to re-open it to put the old piece under the door opening--had not realized there was not one included with new panel and did not notice until I opened the door after the wash cycle completed.
