This small rubber grommet seals the opening around the dishwasher's detergent/rinse-aid dispenser, helping prevent leaks and moisture intrusion so the dispenser operates reliably throughout the wash cycle.
After discovering your web site and reading of others issues I ordered a door seal (my old one was a little short on the right side) a detergent door grommet, and the 2 water deflectors ( I decided to cover all the bases while I was at it. Snap-in outlet connector that secures the upper spray arm assembly to the dishwasher. Replace if cracked, stripped, or won't hold the arm securely.
I was unable to remove the screwed snap outlet, therefore only replaced the upper spray arm and the wash arm retaining clip. This fixed the problem. It would have been helpful if a tip were given as how to remove the screwed in outlet snap nut. Read more

Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. Removing dishwasher requires disconnecting power, water, and drain line--tools will vary depending on connections. i replaced drain line because original install was not done correctly--hose too short--You could probably do just this w/o pulling unit.
