This control board housing secures and protects the washer's electronic control board, keeping circuitry stable and shielded from moisture and debris for reliable operation. It fits into the console area and supports proper control panel alignment. What it does:

Kit includes more than shown on picture. New kit is for both plastic and stainless tubs. Plastic tubs use only the float and the switch stainless tubs use all the parts.
I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. The job should have been very easy after watching a youtube video but the panel was stuck on the bottom and it took a call to the AppliancePros customers service line to figure out I needed some extra effort to pry it loose. During the repair, the door latch broke and I had to order another one. Through all of this AppliancePros was extremely professional and responsive and delivery was excellent. Read more
