The Latch Switch Kit, an OEM Replacement Part is designed to ensure the safe operation of your Whirlpool dishwasher. The kit includes two microswitches and a wiring harness. It prevents the appliance from running when the door is open. If defective, the door switch may prevent the dishwasher from operating even when the door is closed.

I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before. Read more

The mounting assembly secures the upper spray arm to the dishwasher ceiling and allows it to rotate during wash cycles. Replace if the upper spray arm wobbles, doesn't rotate, or water pressure seems reduced from the top spray.
