I ordered the part from you which amazingly showed up less than 20 hours after I ordered it. I then watched a video you produced about replacing the part. Between those two things I had my dishwasher up and running withing 36 hours of talking to your rep. Read more

Note: New rack no longer includes removable tines or cup shelf. This part is a lower dishrack. The lower dishrack is the lower shelf of a dishwasher that holds plates, bowls, and utensils. To remove the old dishrack, simply pull it out and lift the wheels up from its track. Set it off the side, and lift the new dishrack. Slide it into its track and make sure it is locked in. If it is gliding in and out in a smooth way, it has been installed properly. This genuine replacement OEM part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool brands include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand appliances.
Bottom replacement rack is a complete unit. Simply slid the old, rusted one out and slid the new one in. Read more
Located on the supply tube behind the upper dishwasher rack.
Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. After viewing Appliance Parts Pros YouTube Videos, I removed the Main Manifold (snaps right off) including the Top Spray Arm. I discovered the Flappers of the Docking Station (AP6009888) were worn out and/or missing. I removed the Docking Station simply by popping the old one off... Read more
The new drain pump solved the problem and was also quieter than the one it replaced. I saw that many people removed the dishwasher from under the counter to make the repair. Not sure if it was easier, but I was able to do the repair through the kick plate opening. This saved me from having to get the unit positioned back in the exact same place, leveled, and all the sound insulation trim re-installed. I did notice my leveling feet were extended more than half way. This may have made it... Read more
No longer includes course threaded sleeve. When replacing upgrade to new motor. For new motor, order from parts list by model number.
Searched the dishwasher model on ApplianceParts (had used them for a washing machine repair a few years earlier). Was looking for an exploded diagram of the internal parts so I could figure out what might be the problem. There was a video for a motor seal repair kit that seemed to address the bearings which is what I suspected was the culprit. The video started by noting that "you want to replace the motor seal if 1) you have a leak or 2) your dishwasher is making a noise". I watched the... Read more
Color white. The wash arm measures about 11 inches, and the retainer about 3 inches.
Spun each of the three wash arms by hand. All could be made to touch/scrape but the top one was super wabbly. Ordered both the arm and clip. Repair took less than a minute. Used a screwdriver to pry loose one side of the old clip to remove. Aligned the new parts and easily snapped into place. Read more
Ordered the part. Arrived the next day. Took the eleven screws off the door exposing the back of the Soap/Rinse Aid dispenser. Six screws hold it on the inside of the door. Popped off easily. There is a plug that runs from the timer to the dispenser…it's a pain to get off. Use a flat head screw driver. Screwed the new unit in place. Plugged it in. Put the door back together. I accidentally caught the door catch in the door and screwed it together seizing it...so I had to take the top screws off... Read more
Kit includes more than shown on picture. New kit is for both plastic and stainless tubs. Plastic tubs use only the float and the switch stainless tubs use all the parts.
I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt. The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. A ten minute job and the dishwasher is back in service (for half the cost of my local parts place) While... Read more
