This OEM replacement part is a washer tub assembly. The tub is the cylindrical piece that is found inside the washer where the clothes are put. Damage to the tub can cause it to not rotate properly. If the tub is making excessive noise during the wash cycle and appears to be misaligned, damaged, or broken, it might be time for a replacement. Start by removing the front panel of the washing machine. Then proceed to remove the top and back panels. After gaining access to the interior of the machine, disconnect any hoses attached to the drum and take note of where they go. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws that hold the drum to the machine. Lift the tub out, and replace it with the new one. Be sure to re-attach everything properly.
