Whirlpool W10838408 Washer Motor Shield OEM Part

The repair was simple. Having used Appliance Parts Pro in the past for much needed repair parts, I simply unplugged the machine, turned off the water and removed the drain hose and slid unit forward. I then removed the top control panel like last time, tilted the body forward and set it aside. I unfastened the upper hose to the water pump and slid what was left of the old shield out and slid the new replacement shield back into place then reattached the flex hose. The shield slipped right into the place in the proper areas where the tabs helps hold it steady. I then reattached the outer shell, reattached the control panel and shoved unit back in place reinserting the drain hose, turned the water back on, and plugged her in. Voila! Job done, machine back in order and most importantly the wife thinks I'm a genius... Silly woman. I paid attention to the film that Appliance Parts Pro have on their webpage. Thanks Guys... until we need again...
