Washer not dispensing soap or softener? A clogged or broken distribution nozzle prevents water flow to dispensers. Moderate DIY repair restores function.
I ordered the dispenser and the distribution nozzle since the old one was in bad shape. I also replaced the boot since I had to take the entire machine apart and it is 20 years old. I watched your videos on you tune to learn what to do. I recently lost my job and really could not afford to hire someone to fix my washer. I have to say it wasn't that hard to do and my wife was so happy that I was able to fix it myself! I probably saved $200 or $300 in service calls and labor on top of what they... Read more

Washer won't power on or trips breakers? A damaged power cord cuts electrical supply. Direct plug-in replacement, takes minutes to install.
Called repairman, he found power cord had been stuffed inside machine (!) so drum rotation had torn coverings of cord until exposed wires shorted out. Repair cost would be nearly $300. Secures U-shaped drain hoses or heating elements in washers. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to prevent hose movement and potential leaks.
Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). The water standing in the tub when I emptied it the first time had very little suds but we kept getting the SUDS warning. ... Read more
Rubber grommet for washers. Installs to cushion components, seal openings, or protect wiring. Replace if cracked, torn, worn, or missing.
This is a leveling foot for a washing machine. A leveling foot is located at the bottom of the washing machine and can be adjusted so that the washing machine sits level on the floor, even if the floor itself is not level. There is one leveling foot included in this pack. A new leveling foot may be needed if the original is broken or stripped. If it won't hold a position, then the leveling foot will need to be replaced. These are very simple to replace, with the exception of needing to reach underneath the unit. These screw into the bottom of the washing machine. Never perform care and maintenance on an appliance that is powered on.This is a genuine Whirlpool part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This specific leveling foot is compatible with washing machines manufactured by Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Maytag.

Detergent not dispensing into drum? This dispenser to tub hose carries detergent from the dispenser to the washer tub. Moderate DIY repair.
I first watched the video showing me how to replace the tub seal. This probably covers everything you need to know about taking apart and putting together this unit. Completely disassembled the washer and power washed the back of the basket around the spider. There was light corrosion on the spider. Cleaned the tub and installed new gasket. Replaced tub to pump hose and discharge hose. Replaced the bellow tub seal and installed new spring. Replaced dispenser to tub hose. Cleaned... Read more
Replacement outer tub for front-load washers. Houses the spin basket and seals water inside during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, damaged, or leaking.
Tore entire machine down to get to wash drum. Found it had a broken "spider" which is common with most front load machines. The drum is stainless steel but the spider is cast aluminum and it does not do well when exposed to laundry soap. It was pretty much disintegrated as a matter of fact. Anyway my machine is twelve years old and after some smooth talking, I was able to convince Whirlpool to send me a new wash drum at no cost. My warranty was one of the older ones and the drum had a... Read more
