Being that our model was no longer manufactured I was very happy to find the toe panel readily available from Appliance Parts Pros. It was shipped to me in just a few days and it was very easy to remove (2 screws) and replace the dryers bottom panel. The dryer needed to be tilted back and supported to do the job but if your dryer has the raised base it may be easier to remove the toe panel. A very easy repair and our dryer is good as new without spending a fortune for a service call. Read more

The appliance instructions, located inside the cabinet, said to replace the electronic controls to clear the code. It has two: I took a 50-50 shot and replaced the cheaper of the two (behind front control panel), that did not clear the code. I then removed the dryers top cover and removed the second electronic control board and decided to open the white plastic cover enclosing the actual board and inspect. Isolated door switch and tested switch through harness wires. Continuity found with both switch depressed and pressed on same wires. Ordered switch Wednesday night and it arrived the following Tuesday to east coast home. Read more
