This sealed surface burner assembly includes the burner head and ignition electrode for a power boost burner on a gas range cooktop. It distributes gas evenly for proper flame pattern and uses the electrode to create the spark needed for ignition. Replace if you notice uneven flames, failure to ignite, yellow or weak flames, or if the burner cap is cracked or corroded.
